LAND OF ENCHANTMENT

CONCERT DESCRIPTION

An adept guitarist, Todd Mosby has garnered award winning acclaim for his sophisticated, broad-minded blend of contemporary jazz, folk, new age, and North Indian raga traditions. After four releases and national tours, he continues to explore a mix of Western, Eastern and Folk sounds. With his 2023′s Land of Enchantment, he turns his attention to the arid landscapes of America’s Southwest.

Mosby’s Blue Horizons Band presents an exciting concert version of his new album "Land of Enchantment", a musical exploration into the beauty, mystique and passion the American Southwest for artists Georgia O’Keefe and Ansel Adams. Painting a musical landscape from jazz to jazz fusion, samba & bossa with Sergio Mendes style vocals to folk-rock, Mosby's award-winning pedigree and upbeat compositions leave audiences wanting more. Reimagined James Taylorish renditions of songs like By the Time I Get to Phoenix re-connect listeners with hits of the past with a contemporary spin, long remembered.

Mosby’s concerts create special song moments throughout the evening which stay with audiences long after the concert. Presenting to sell out performances in the finest performing arts centers from NYC to San Fransisco, this genre-defying super group delivers contemporary jazz with virtuoso flair leaving audiences with a concert experience remembered years later.
