The Black Jazz Pick is my go too for electric guitar. The articulation this amazing and the feel is great. The sound is warm and fat with a smooth feel and will not slip out of your hands. The Black Jazz Pick @ 1.50mm provides great attack and tone control while producing a beautiful sound and he tone gets better with age. While the Black Jazz Pick may suggest it is for a Jazz style, it has a very broad spectrum that spans and other playing styles.t
The pick shape is based on the basic 651 / Jazz III style which provides a great hold, nice point for rapid fire notes and articulation, good mass for a warmer tone and overall smooth feel and touch. The Back Jazz Pick requires strength and technique and a little getting used to, but the distance between the thumb and index finger develops over a relatively short period of continuous use.
The base material on this is made of Derlin, the same material found in ski bindings and will last for a long time. These picks survive the washer and dryer and last a long time. I used to use a high grade celluloid pick which was fairly expensive, would wear out after a short period of time and never survive the washing machine or dryer.
